The Hold Steady – New Album Artwork Revealed
The Hold Steady recently finished mixing, ‘Heaven Is Whenever,’ their new album set for release this May 4th via Vagrant Records and on May 3rd via Rough Trade in the UK and EU.
Frontman Craig Finn says ’Heaven Is Whenever’ is about “embracing suffering and finding reward in our everyday lives.” We are told that guitar takes the lead role in the new album. The band had been testing the new material out on recent tours over a long period of time to “see what was working and what wasn’t. I believe this record benefits from us working at a more deliberate pace.” according to Finn.
