Grace Woodroofe Live Video – I Wanna Be Your Dog

Check out the new live video of “I Wanna Be Your Dog” in NYC on the Relix Magazine rooftop from Australian folk-blues chanteuse Grace Woodroofe is giving us another taste of her debut Always Want, with “Bear”. She has toured with Cat Power & Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros among others. Grace is currently on tour with Ben Harper in support of Always Want, which comes out January 24th on Modular. She will also be performing at CMJ this year.

Grace Woodroofe’s background is as dynamic as her work.  LA based artist collective The Masses heard demos that Grace had entered into an Australian radio contest, and invited her to come to the US and record. Through this invitation she ended up collaborating with Mark Eitzel (American Music Club), Carlos Nino (Dublab Collective) and performer/arranger Justin Medal-Johnsen (NIN, Beck, Gnarls Barkley). After finishing her studies in Perth, Grace returned to LA and started work on Always Want with Ben Harper, who produced the album.  You can be sure that you will be hearing more about Grace across the hemispheres in 2012!
