SuckersWe caught Suckers‘ on tour with The Local Natives this weekend in Portland. Suckers are an indie band from Brooklyn with their debut full-length, ‘Wild Smile,’  coming out on June 8th but we are sure fans already recognize them from their current tour with fellow French Kiss labelmates Local Natives. Post album release, Suckers will then perform various dates with Passion Pit, Tokyo Police Club and Mates of State and (and this is not on SPINNER) they announced during the show, a tour with Portland’s own Menomena! To be honest we were blown away by the band’s performance the other night and can’t wait to see them again. More photos and review later. Touring with all these great bands, you gotta know they are good! We agree it’s not bad company they keep.

This single, ‘A Mind I Knew,’ shows that there’s good reason for all the hype. Frontman Quinn Walker tells Spinner that the song is actually “a bedtime story for adults. But in no way shape or form did they put us to sleep.
