“I think we have a lot in common,” says Throsby, 32, the youngest of the trio. “We’re all driven by the same things. We love writing songs. The kind of songs we write . . . although we each have distinctive styles . . . come from a similar place. And I find it nice for the three of us to hang out. We get each other.”The Australian newspaper

Australian singer-songwriters Holly Throsby, Sarah Blasko and Sally Seltmann known collectively as Seeker, Lover, Keeper are set to release their debut album this week in Australia and launch a nation wide tour which will include the widely celebrated and anticipated  Splendour in the Grass in Woodford, Queensland.

They have announced that their self titled debut consists of 12 songs which are equal parts of the participants, although Blasko, despite initial protests, has ended up with five of the lead vocals.

“There was a song of Holly’s, Rely on Me, that she was going to sing,” Blasko explains. “I was reluctant to do it but the girls kept asking me. I couldn’t hear myself singing that one until Holly made me do it. I enjoyed it because the song has real generosity to it.” according to an interview published by The Australian in a pub in Sydney’s Surry Hills (picture above).

Triple J Radio is featuring the band’s album this week, below you can get a preview of the song, “Rely On Me” off Triple J’s broadcast today.  In case you missed their debut videos, check all three here.
