Courtney Love “Samantha” Live on Jonathan Ross
Courtney along with guitarist Micko Larkin, bassist Shawn Dailey and Stu Fischer on drums, (no original Hole members here) play as “Hole” on the Jonathan Ross show, followed by a few gigs in London and they are scheduled to be in this year’s SXSW – now that will be interesting. The band will be promoting their forthcoming Nobody’s Daughter a project five years in the making. Nobody’s Daughter started out as a Courtney Love release, but eventually evolved into a new Hole album. Renowned producer Linda Perry began work on the album in 2006, though Love has since recruited the likes of others to help boost the album including producer Michael Beinhorn (Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson). The Linda Perry and Billy Corgan co-written “Samantha.” sung here by Courtney, is probably one of the best we have seen and heard from Courtney in ages – well it has been five years of mucking around for Hole since we have seen a new album, enjoy!
