BLACK MOUNTAIN ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM
Here’s the albums cover art (“with maybe the most badass cover art of the year” – Pitchfork) which was done by the bands very own Jeremy Schmidt.
Black Mountain is a Canadian psychedelic rock-band composed of Stephen McBean, Amber Webber, Matt Camirand, Jeremy Schmidt and Joshua Wells. Frontman Stephen McBean also plays in Pink Mountaintops. Black Mountain has released two LPs, Black Mountain (2005) and In The Future (2008), and 2 EPs Druganaut (2004) and Bastards of Light (2008) on the Jagjaguwar label. The album In the Future (2008) was a finalist for the 2008 Polaris Music Prize.
Black Mountain have announced their third album, ‘Wilderness Heart’ will be released on 13th September in Europe and 14th September (N.America). To celebrate this news, they’re giving away ‘Old Fangs’ from said album as a teaser to what is in store for us this fall.
